Half way! EEK

I can't belive that it is already half way through the camp. I have enjoyed every moment here, and the thought of having to leave this place and all my friends is actually ver scary! On the other hand, I still have 2 and a half more weeks to be here so I will continue to love it. The dancing has always been great, and still is! We are starting to put together our piece for West African that we will be performing at the end of the summer. Our teacher speaks very little English, so there has been a little bit of a language barrier, but I still really enjoy the class. It is such a workout, and I always wake up the next morning with a neck ache. Jazz is such a fun calss, Fred Mann, who danced side with Bob Fosse and Alvin Aiely is such a funny guy. While he may be funny and crack jokes, he means buisness. He works us very hard and expects only the best! I am continuing to advantage of being in NY and am still taking classes at Steps on Bd'way. As you would assume, all this work makes for a tired dancer! Which is why it is very nice to be able to catch up on sleep on the weekends, and go explore the city.
